Lui Liu also known as Lui Yi is a Contemporary Chinese surrealist painter. Born in North China in 1957, he moved to Toronto, Canada in 1991. Most well known for his large scale surreal figurative paintings, Lui Yi has developed a unique sophisticated style, influence by both Chinese and Western cultures. With a global following, he has exhibited at major contemporary galleries around the globe, and has shown robust prices on the secondary market.
