ABOUT VANESSA

Vanessa Villegas has been a fine art advisor in Los Angeles for the last 10 years.  She has assisted hundreds of art collectors around the world with buying and selling art for their collections. As your fine art advisor, Vanessa will utilize her experience, connections, and positive philosophy to help guide you through the process.

A native of Los Angeles, Vanessa Villegas graduated cum laude from New York University in 2006. While attending NYU, she spent a year in Europe studying the art and architecture of the 20^th Century Modern Masters. After obtaining her degree in Art History, Vanessa returned to Los Angeles where she quickly became an art advisor and gallerist in the LA Contemporary Art scene. Working with cutting edge Contemporary and Street Art galleries, she moved up in the Los Angeles gallery scene, becoming the gallery director of Ambrogi Castanier in West Hollywood. While at Ambrogi Castanier Vanessa organized exhibitions for LA’s up-and-coming street artists and made connections with numerous contemporary artists from around the globe. In 2010 she became the managing director of DBFA. where she greatly expanded her knowledge of blue-chip print collecting.  As the primary art advisor at the gallery, she was able to cultivate her expertise in investment grade prints, multiples, and sculptures. Vanessa has a profound passion for Contemporary art and is pleased to offer her art advisory services to collectors around the world.
