David Alfaro Siqueiros is considered one of the leading Mexican muralist painters of the 20th Century. Alongside his colleagues Diego Rivera and Jose Clemente Orozco, Siqueiros was extremely political activist, and his artworks often featured both social and political subjects tied to his Marxist/Communist beliefs.
