Rufino Tamayo Mujer en Blanco (Woman in White) Pereda 174 is a beautiful example of Rufino Tamayo prints on Guarro paper. The Guarro paper used for Rufino Tamayo’s prints is a special hand-made paper that has been embossed to create a porous texture intended to emulate stone. Rufino Tamayo’s art is deeply influenced by pre-Columbian sculptures and he was constantly looking for new printing techniques that allowed him to create unique textures in his art.
