Picasso’s Vollard Suite is a portfolio of 100 etchings produced between 1930-1937. The Vollard series is well known amongst Picasso Collectors, and complete sets can be found in major museum collections across the globe. The etchings from the suite are in a neo-classical style, and the suite begins with the theme of the artist’s studio. Many of the early compositions portray a sculptor and his model in errotic repos, mirroring Picasso’s relationship with his model and muse Marie-Therese.
