Our Mel Bochner gallery is pleased to offer this stunning example of the Thank You theme. After beginning his career as a conceptual artist Mel Bochner began using text and specifically idioms and colloquial phrases like “Head Honcho” or “Ha Ha Ha”, as the bases for his works. From the original inceptions, Mel Bochner began creating unique monoprints of the phrases, each one a one-of-a-kind original. The large monoprints are particularly impressive, made from thick embossed hand-made paper and collaged with thick acrylic paint.
